There are several trails that lead to the summit of Mt. Maynuba, with the most popular route known as the "Maynuba Circuit." This circuit takes hikers through a series of peaks and offers breathtaking views of nearby mountains, waterfalls, and rock formations. How to get to Mount Maynuba?

Public Transportation:

From Manila, take a bus or van bound for Tanay, Rizal. You can find these transportation options in various terminals such as Araneta Center Bus Terminal or Cubao Bus Terminal. Inform the driver or conductor that you're heading to Mt. Maynuba or Tanay proper. They can drop you off at Tanay Public Market or Tanay Church, which are common drop-off points. From Tanay Public Market or Tanay Church, you can hire a tricycle or jeepney to bring you to the jump-off point of Mt. Maynuba. The jump-off point is typically in Barangay Cayabu, Tanay, which is the starting point for the Maynuba Circuit hike.

Private Vehicle:

If you have a private vehicle or are driving, you can take the Marikina-Infanta Highway or Marcos Highway from Manila. Follow the route towards Tanay, Rizal. Along the way, you'll pass through towns like Marikina, San Mateo, and Antipolo. Once in Tanay town proper, you can ask locals for directions to Barangay Cayabu, which is where the jump-off point is located.

The starting point for the Maynuba Circuit hike, which includes Mt. Maynuba, is typically Barangay Cayabu in Tanay, Rizal. This barangay serves as the jump-off point for the trek to Mt. Maynuba and the other peaks in the area.
